Sweet Chilli Lamb Burgers

Sweet Chilli Lamb Burgers

" Delicious, scrumptious and addictive. This combo is amazing with sweet potato wedges! Kiddies favourite "

  •  500g lean lamb mince 
  • 1tbsp honey 
  • Zest of a lime
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 tsp salt 
  • 1 tsp garlic granules

Sweet Chilli Sauce

  • 1/2 cup maple syrup 
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 garlic clove 
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes 
  • 1 tbsp almond flour 

For the sauce

  1. In a small pan, add all the ingredients and whisk together.
  2. Bring to the boil.
  3. Heat over a medium flame for 10 minutes until thickened.
  4. Allow to cool. 


  1. Dice the onion finely
  2. Add all ingredients together and combine. 
  3. Add a spoonful of the sweet chilli sauce and stir evenly. 
  4. Take a handful of the mixture and shape to form a burger. 
  5. Wrap in clingfilm and place in the fridge until you want to cook them, atlas 15 minutes. 
  6. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for around 20 minutes, flip half way.
  7. Enjoy!
