Morrocon Chicken Kebabs

Morrocon Chicken Kebabs

"Beautifully succulent and tasty Moroccan Kebabs! A very easy but impressive dish - BBQ must!" 

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 courgette
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Wooden skewers 

  1. Cut the chicken, peppers, onion and courgette into 1 inch cubes - or a similar size for all and put to one side.
  2. Finely chop the garlic cloves.
  3. Add all the remaining ingredients together to make up the marinade and then add in the chicken, stir or mix with hands to ensure all the chicken is covered. 
  4. Marinate the chicken in the mixture of herbs and spices overnight or for at least one hour.
  5. Skewer the chicken, add peppers and onions and grill over medium-­‐high heat until cooked - approx 4 - 5 minutes per side. 
  6. Check the chicken is thoroughly cooked and white in the middle
  7. The vegetables should have a lovely chargrilled look on the side
  8. Squeeze some fresh lemon over the top for that extra zing! 
  9. Enjoy!
