Balsamic Red Cabbage

Balsamic Red Cabbage

" Silky smooth red cabbage with a vibrant taste and colour. "

  • 1 green apple 
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp organic unsalted butter 
  • 1 head of red cabbage 
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar 
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar 
  • 2 tbsp honey 
  • Salt 
  • Pepper
  1. Slice the apple, onion and cabbage thinly. 
  2. Put butter and olive oil over medium heat in a large pan. 
  3. Add onion and cook for 4 minutes. 
  4. Add apple and cabbage, and cook for a further 4 minutes. 
  5. Stir in apple cider vinegar, salt, pepper, balsamic and honey.
  6. Cover and cook for 20 minutes, stirring regularly, until cabbage is soft.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
